Lower Limb Rehabilitation Class focuses on restoring strength, flexibility, and functionality to the legs and feet following injury, surgery, or illness. It typically involves a combination of mobility, strength and balance exercises. The goal is to improve mobility, reduce pain, and prevent further injury, while helping individuals regain their ability to walk, run, or perform daily activities to their fullest ability. 

Lower Limb Rehabilitation is suitable for people as follows;

  • Sports injury (both pre and post operative intervention)
  • Post Operative – joint replacement or surgical interventions (hip, knee & ankle)
  • Osteoarthritis and lower limb joint pain
  • Falls prevention 
  • Tendon and Ligament Injuries

The Lower Limb Rehab class entails;

  • Supervised group exercise program run by an Exercise Physiologist
  • Individually tailored programs; according to the participants goals and condition 
  • Re-testing every 8 weeks to ensure participant progression and alliance with goals

If you are already seeing one of our professionals then have a chat to them in your next session about starting the class. 

Currently our Lower Limb class runs on a Monday at 1:30pm. 

What to bring?

  • Towel
  • Water bottle
  • Wear clothes you feel comfortable to exercise in 

We also offer one-on-one Exercise Physiology or Physiotherapy sessions if this is preferred.

Lower Limb Rehabilitation can be funded by NDIS, workcover and DVA (through GP referral), and private health fund rebates are available (dependent on your cover).
