Pilates
Moreton All Body Care offers two types of Pilates classes—Matwork and Reformer—led by our experienced Physiotherapists and Accredited Exercise Physiologists. Our classes focus on core Pilates principles: relaxation, concentration, alignment, centering, breathing, coordination, flowing movements, and stamina. Pilates is ideal for improving whole-body strength and managing lower back pain and other musculoskeletal conditions.
Matwork Pilates is performed on a mat and is ideal for beginners. It focuses on core activation, breathing, and spinal alignment through dynamic exercises like glute bridges. Matwork is a great starting point before progressing to Reformer Pilates.
Reformer Pilates uses a spring-resisted carriage to challenge and strengthen muscles with guided movements. It builds on the same core principles as Matwork, enhancing strength and coordination.
We also offer a Basic Reformer Class to introduce beginners to the equipment and help determine the most suitable class type.
Cardiac Rehabilitation
Our Cardiac Rehabilitation Program is an 8-week, in-clinic program designed to support individuals recovering from heart-related events or procedures, such as heart attack, cardiac arrest, coronary artery disease (CAD), angina, heart failure, bypass surgery, angioplasty, valve replacement, arrhythmias, or pacemaker/defibrillator implantation.
Led by experienced Accredited Exercise Physiologists, the program includes:
An initial 1:1 health and fitness assessment
Tailored exercise programming in a supervised group setting
Heart rate and blood pressure monitoring during each session
Education on heart-healthy living, managing risk factors, and improving lifestyle habits
This structured rehabilitation supports your recovery by improving physical fitness, mental wellbeing, and long-term heart health, while reducing your risk of future cardiac events. A detailed progress report is shared with your GP, cardiologist, and yourself at the end of the program.
Neuro Rehab
Our Neuro Rehab Classes are tailored, evidence-based programs designed to support individuals living with neurological conditions such as stroke, Motor Neurone Disease (MND), Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Parkinson’s Disease, Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), and dementia.
Run by qualified Physiotherapists and Accredited Exercise Physiologists, these classes combine individualised rehabilitation programs with the benefits of a small group setting. Each participant works toward their personal goals in a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment, promoting mobility, strength, balance, and confidence.
Our Neuro Rehab Classes are ideal for anyone seeking structured, goal-oriented support to improve their function and quality of life while managing the effects of neurological conditions.
Lower Limb Rehab
Our Lower Limb Rehabilitation Classes are ideal for individuals recovering from lower limb injuries or orthopaedic surgeries such as total knee replacement, total hip replacement, ankle surgery, or knee arthroscopy. They’re also suitable for those with balance difficulties or lower limb weakness.
Each participant follows an individualised rehabilitation program tailored to their condition and goals, delivered in a supervised group environment by our experienced Accredited Exercise Physiologists.
These classes focus on restoring strength, mobility, stability, and confidence, helping you return to daily activities safely and effectively.
Hydrotherapy
Our Hydrotherapy Classes offer a safe and effective way to improve mobility, strength, and pain management through low-impact, water-based exercise. Held at the Burpengary Aquatic Centre, these classes are ideal for individuals recovering from injury, surgery, or managing chronic conditions such as arthritis, joint pain, or muscle weakness.
Led by our experienced Physiotherapists and Accredited Exercise Physiologists, each class provides personalised support in a temperature-controlled pool. The buoyancy of the water reduces joint stress while providing resistance to build strength and stability.
Hydrotherapy is suitable for a wide range of ages and fitness levels, and is particularly beneficial for those with limited mobility or recovering from orthopaedic or neurological conditions.
Please note: A pool entry fee applies and is paid directly to the Burpengary Aquatic Centre.
